NUS Business School Career Services will help you achieve your career objectives, whether your goal is to advance in the same field, embark on a new career path, or launch an entrepreneurial venture.

Career Services spearheads a wide array of activities exclusively for MBA students. Organised throughout the academic year, activities include recruitment events, networking sessions and corporate visits, as well as on-going support to help you optimise your resumes and prepare for interviews.

Recruitment Events

On-campus recruitment events and industry panel discussions offer a close-up view on specific organisations, industries and business areas. You will build your network and acquire a better understanding of what employers value when hiring talent for their organisation.

Networking

Career Services offers multiple channels to help you develop a robust network of contacts in Singapore, Asia and beyond. Events feature top executives and thought leaders from a wide range of sectors.

MBA Resume Book

A publication featuring student resumes gives global recruiters and leading organisations easy access to the vast pool of NUS MBA talent.

Employment Directory

Employment opportunities are posted on a daily basis on TalentEdge, the university’s exclusive online recruitment system. Currently enrolled students as well as recent graduates can utilize the system.

Internships

Career Services internships will give you the chance to gain an insider’s view of a particular company and industry. Internships generally take place from May to late July. International students are also eligible to participate in the internship program with no need for a special work authorisation. They may work full-time in the summer and part-time during the academic term.

Career Skills Workshops

You will benefit from a rich array of professional workshops that range from industry-specific interview clinics and assessment centre simulations to personal branding sessions.

Career Resources

Using the online job portal, you can conveniently and securely apply for internships and full-time positions. The Career Resource Centre also includes valuable materials on career choices, guidelines for high-impact resumes and cover letters, and recruitment brochures from hiring organisations.

Career Advisory

The Career Services Team will guide you through self-assessment activities, market research, cover letter and resume writing, and career-plan design. You will work closely with an assigned mentor and a specialist in your area of interest to ensure your career objectives are attained.
In many ways the NUS MBA was a journey of self-discovery and one after which I have come out stronger and ready to restart my career in earnest.
