Case Competitions

With the objective of ensuring our students engage in active and robust intellectual exchanges with other future business leaders, The NUS MBA opens a wide variety of opportunities for students to compete in overseas business competitions in places like Los Angeles, Bangkok, Las Vegas and Hong Kong, among others. Students are trained by The NUS MBA Business Case Competition Team, prior to their departure for overseas case competitions. Through these competitions, students can test their knowledge, presentation and communication skills and quick thinking against the best business schools in the world.

Cerebration is a global business challenge organised annually by students from the NUS MBA programme. At the heart of the competition are real life case studies of leading Asian companies that are focused on international expansion. These cases profile strategic, operational, manpower and financial aspects of companies and look to give the participating teams a comprehensive understanding of these organisations and how they do business globally and in Asia. On average, more than 100 business schools and 600 teams from over 24 countries submit their entries each year and the finalists gets to present their business plans before a panel of distinguished judges.
